HEALTH POLICY ANALYSIS 2 HEALTH POLICY ANALYSIS Introduction Policy analysis is described as a process of evaluating how a policy achieves a set of goals in relations to policy and its’ goals. Policy analysis involves the use of two main components. The first component involves the analysis of the existing policy through a process of descriptive and analytical by trying to explain the policy and its development. The second component is the identification and definition of the problem in relations to health policy. Health professional have shown that it is critical to clearly define a problem when responding to a major health care concern in the community (Dixit & Sambasivan, 2018).
