Last Name 1Student’s NameInstructorCourseDateJobs: Top Cities for College GraduatesThe author advises new college grad job seekers to move to cities where jobs are, such as Indianapolis (Dimagio, p. 1). They should not study with the notion that they will find their dream jobs, which is difficult in the current world. Moving in an area where they will find jobs will open their minds to new opportunities and experiences. One of the reasons why Indianapolis is favorable for college grads is the low cost of living. The graduates will not struggle to pay for housing and daily necessities as opposed to other larger cities (p. 1). The second reason is that more than 180 companies have posted jobs that are readily available, which is favorable than moving to a city to look for jobs blindly. The other cities in the list are Phoenix, New York, Denver and Atlanta. Some of cities were not highly affected by the economic downturn of 2008 and still provide new opportunities. Atlanta and New York are on the east coast.
