In the articles, there are two conventions to which the government is signatory, namely the Tokyo Convention of 1963 , and the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Seizure of Aircraft [Hijacking of 1971. The two conventions were signed by various nations ensuring that there is a rule of law governing people’s behavior in an aircraft, handling cargo as well as determining the safe routes.
