Unit 1 SOC 1502 Learning Journal Max weber: contribution to sociology; Bureaucracy Ideal Type Introduction Max weber was a well known sociologist that wrote many article and books relating to sociology. He gives rise to a new academic disciplines and also he makes a good contribution and also he makes a good adjustment to law, religious, political science (Kim, 2012). Ideal Types According to Priyadarashini (2016) weber felt it was the responsibility of the sociologist to form an idea of something in their mind and also the conceptual tools is important in an ideal type. The ideal types which is sometimes referred to the pure Type construct models has characteristics aspects. It is abstract models of how something would ideally exist which is a state in which everything is perfect but not real and that must to be measurable. It needed to be linked to conditions that brought the particular event into the highlight and the incidents that followed from the time it came into being. ( Bancroft & Rogers, 2010).
