2RISE AND FALL OF THE OTTOMAN EMPIREIntroduction The Ottoman Empire was created after separating from Turkish tribes in 1299. In today’s society, the Ottoman Empire is known as Europe. At one point in history, this empire was very large and powerful. During its rising point, the empire included various perimeters such as Romania, Hungary, Israel, Syria, and many other civilizations. In completion, by 1595 the empire had over 7 million square miles of land. By the 18thcentury, the empire began its downfall. Rising of Ottoman EmpireAfter breaking apart from the Seljuk Empire, the Ottoman Empire began by late 1200’s. Once the empire had split ways, they gained control of other states that were a part of the Turk Empire. In the late 1400’s, the Ottoman Empire had gained control of all other states that formally belonged to the Seljuk Empire.
