-1 Knob Creek ad An ad for Knob Creek straight bourbon whiskey is found inside of the March 2008 edition of men’s magazine “Esquire.” The ad is targeting men of older age, probably around 30 or older years of age who are able to order drinks in bars, clubs, restaurants, and any other places where Knob Creek whiskey is sold. When you first view the ad you get a dark, aged feeling from the multiple pictures on the ad. There are five separate pictures of different sizes. The largest picture is nothing more then hand grabbing a glass of Knob Creek Whiskey from the table. The background is fuzzy besides the hand and glass which makes both stand out and draws immediate focus to them. There are two picture at the top of the page that are similar in size. One is a picture of the knob Creek Whiskey bottle. The other picture is of a few men sitting together at a bar socializing. There is another picture that is small and appears to be an old piece of wood. The final picture is a small picture of the label of knob creek located right next to the saying “Drink Life Deeply” At a closer look you notice writing blended in with the picture. Blended in with the picture of the men at the bar is “aged nine years” with the number 9 next to it. The picture with the glass being grabbed has “Knob Creek straight bourbon whiskey” blended in to it. The next noticeable portion of the advertisement is the small saying in the center of the
