DEFECTS - If there is a defect in the goods, which is obvious to the buyer merchant at the time of delivery, the buyer merchant should inform the seller within two days after delivery.

If the defect is not evident but can only be discovered through examination, the buyer is obliged to examine the goods by himself or have the goods examined by someone else. If the examination reveals that the goods are defective, then the buyer should notify the seller within 8 days after delivery. After 8 days burden of proof shifts to the party who did not object in time.

In case of commercial sales, the statutory time limitation for the defects which cannot be discovered after a normal examination is 6 months.
