Please mark in RED INK and give a brief indication to the student of why you have taken off marks when you do. The solutions are in BOLD, everything else was on the question sheet. Please put your initials on top of each solution you mark so that we can trace back if the student has questions. 1. [0.5 marks for each part] In the sentences below, fill in the blanks using either terminology from the course or information from the description of the study and the plots in Figure ?? . (a) The median age of smokers in the sample is higher OR greater OR more than the non-smokers (b) The Plan is observational since no variates were manipulated. .
