29.01.08 WHAT IS A BUISNESS? A business is an entity which enables people ore groups of people to work together to achieve the same goal, normally profit for the owners, and where the owners are liable, to some degree, if the business is unable to pay its debt. A business makes a profit when the income is earned (revenue) is greater than the costs of production (expenses). One common feature shared by all businesses is that they produce a product: GOOD OR SERVICE. This good or service is sold in a market where customers meet.
