IDENTIFICATION OF RELEVANT STAKEHOLDERS There are a number of stakeholders in business. What is a stakeholder ? A stakeholder is any group or individual who interacts with the business and has an existing, ongoing, or future interest in the success of the business. What are some examples of stakeholders? Shareholders/ owners Managers Employees Creditors / suppliers Customers / client Government Society Environment Stakeholders can be from the Internal or external business environment. Classify the above stakeholders as belonging to either the internal or external business environment. Internal business environment = employees, managers, shareholders/owners External business environment = customers/client, creditor/suppliers, government, environment, society Every business must be aware of and take into account the needs of their stakeholders.
