At the prompt enter the new Resolution. The values can be 10, 12, 14 or 16. (4) To Change Read Mode There are occasions when it is desirable to read a single time, then stop, and other times when it is more convenient to read continuously. To select how you want to read the card, type 4 (to change Read Mode) and then hit Enter. At the prompt enter either a 0 (CONTINUOUS) or a 1 (SINGLE). The next time the Read command is selected, the current mode will be used. (5) To Write Discrete Output There are two Discrete Registers on the SB-3631X. To write to the Discrete Outputs, type 5 (to write Discrete Output) and then hit Enter. At the prompt enter a 16 bit (two character) Hex number to write to the register. To verify what was written, choose the Read Discrete Output option. (6) To Read Discrete Output To verify what was written to the Discrete Outputs, type 6 (to read Discrete Output) and then hit Enter. This will display the 16 bit Hex number that is stored in the Discrete Output register. Press any key to return to the main menu.
