Learners (level, grade, age): Beginners, 1st grade, ~6 years old Room Configuration: 20 students, 4 tables of 5 students. Circle time rug, classroom library, white board, classroom cubbies, four windows, computer and speaker, wall with pictures of climate. Learning Objectives & Content Standards or Skills Alignment : Defines clear, suitable learning objectives for the unit and lesson. Objectives align with standards (option A) or skills (option B). Learning Objectives: (Option B) Unit : - Weather Vocabulary (Snow, Rain, Cloudy, Sunny, Fog, Thunder/Storm, Hail, Wind) - Students can identify what the weather is using the weather vocabulary Lesson : Students will be in morning circle time and one student will be the weather person for the day. That student will then go to the weather felt board and say what the weather is outside.
