Padilla 1 Lorena Padilla Ms. Finan Ap. World History April 13, 2009 Western Europe and War Warfare has always been what countries resort to in order to solve their problems. In Western Europe, when war was the solution, the motivation for it remained the same but the form of fighting and weapons changed from the year of 1750 to 2000. During war, there are many different forms of fighting that officers choose to use. Throughout the years, these forms changed and developed so that the result would be a quicker death for their enemy. The fighting went from hand to hand combat to having the ability to use different weapons like swords. This was occurring around the early eighteen hundreds. Then, when World War One began, in the early nineteen hundreds, the fighting began to be in a more organized manner. One example would be the trench warfare that many officers preferred using. This consisted of digging trenches that would be where soldiers would end up living, eating, sleeping, and even fighting. Not only was there trench warfare but also during that same war, air
