Economics 333 Section 002 – International Economics Pennsylvania State University Fall 2008 Forum 108 MW 4:40 pm – 5:55 pm Professor McCann 607 Kern Building, Phone # 814-865-6150 Office Hours: MWF 10 AM – 11:30 AM Email: Economics Department Website: TA: __________________ Office Hours: __________ Email: ________________ Required Items : 1) International Economics th edition. 2) Course Material Booklet – contains class notes and is available in the Penn State bookstore. 3) In Addition, you will need a pencil, paper and a non-programmable calculator for every class (NO cell phones, NO graphing calculators and NO laptops may be used in class). Course Format: There will be 2 mid-term exams, homework assignments and a final exam. Each mid-term is worth 25% of your final grade. The homework assignments are worth 25% of your final grade, and the final is also worth 25%. Grading Scale: Decimals will be rounded to the nearest one. For example, a final score of 91.2 is rounded to 91% whereas a final score of 91.5 or 91.8 is rounded to 92%. The grading scale is shown below. A 93-100 A- 90-92 B+ 87-89 B 83-86 B- 80-82 C+ 77-79 C 73-76 C- 70-72 D+ 67-69 D 63-66 D- 60-62 F 59 and below Page 1 of 7
