Discussion Question 1 To improve your current editing skills, what are some of your weak areas? What are some of your weak areas when it comes to writing? What can you do improve these areas ? To improve my editing skills, I proof your writing along with using the features in word to check for grammatical mistakes, pointers on punctuation and spelling errors. Sometimes I have to resort to a grammar textbook.

Unformatted text preview: Some of my weak areas in writing would be including a lot of information. I find that I want to include a lot of verbiage that makes the report lengthy. I have to proof read and shorten the paragraphs to make the essay/report flow. I have gotten better at downsizing and thru a composition III class has helped me with grammar and editing....
