In what direction are RNA polynucleotide transcripts assembled? B. What orientation, with respect to the transcript, is the template DNA strand? 5) Both DNA and RNA form polynucleotides through phosphodiester bonds between 3’ –OH and 5’ phosphate. List at least 5 differences between DNA replication and RNA transcription. Consider specific mechanistic examples, and do not simply give a laundry list of proteins. 6)
