Transmittal letter: Dear Clinica Romero, The following proposal is a collection of ideas for different projects that we, as a group, feel can greatly help your business become a thriving community center. We truly believe that your goals of helping the community are very important and it is crucial that your location does not hinder these goals. This is why, after speaking with you, we decided that the most important areas of your location that need to be improved are the courtyard, the annex building, and the parking lot, and to do this we have provided you with multiple different options, along with explanations of how these options will help you work better with the community, as well as costs and timelines for each project. We thank you for your time, and greatly appreciate your consideration of our proposal. Sincerely, Charlie DeStefano Ryan Sanders Hannah Huang Jared Salin Kylan Hurt

Executive Summary Problem: For this project, our group was to analyze Clinica Romero’s business and property layout and find a way to improve how everything is run for the company. Solution: Our group chose to not just focus on one portion of Clinica Romero’s operation, but more so to improve the set-up and organization of the property as a whole. For the courtyard, we primarily worked on improving the air conditioning unit, the community garden, community mural, and benches and tables. We determined that the total cost of moving the air conditioning unit to a different location within the courtyard would be about 8 to 10 thousand dollars. In addition, the community garden implementation of putting numerous plots of plants into the courtyard would be about 2 to 3 thousand dollars with about $300 per year for maintenance of this addition and an extra $400 to $600 for the benches and tables we recommend adding to the garden. Our final proposed addition to the courtyard would be the community mural, which we projected to cost about $400 to $600. For the annex building on the other hand, our main proposals were to raise the ceiling, add windows or skylights, add signs to guide people through the building, and remove unnecessary doors that contribute to the complexity of the navigation through the building. For such a big project, such as raising the ceiling, the cost would be about 55 to 60 thousand dollars and would take a few months to accomplish. In addition to this, the total cost of adding the windows and signs and removing a few unnecessary doors would be about $3,000. If it were necessary to use the temporary office space, the two options are buying a prefabricated
