SOME SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVING YOUR GRADE IN BIO 311C- FROM OTHER STUDENTS 1) I read the chapter that you are going to cover in class before class so that when you teach the material, it's already the second time I've learned the information. 2) Print out the power point slides before class. 3) During class take notes on the slides. 4) During class I star concepts that are emphasized or that "we need to know for the exam." 4) Go to lecture and don't leave early. During lecture, Dr. Latham very often makes hints about what is important for the exam and what key things to focus studying on. Definetely take note of what she says. Memorize the tables she says to memorize. 5) Then, after every class, that evening I outline the notes we had in class. This way I'm sure to highlight the most important information and writing it down helps me to remember it all. Reading the book before class and outlining the notes after class helps me to learn the information as we go along so that I don't have to learn it all right
