ASTR 26300 is a descriptive, nonmathematical introductive course in astronomy, intended for non-physics majors (that is, intended for both science and non-science majors). ASTR 26300 focuses on the development of human understanding of the universe and the solar system in more detail (while ASTR 26400 in the spring semester will concentrate on stars, galaxies, and the history of the universe).
