Biology Lab Report C1, C2, C3 Leaf Transpiration Aim: To compare the rate of transpiration from different leaf surfaces. Apparatus: 8 leaves from the same plant Petroleum jelly Digital weighing scale (grams) String (1m) Retort Stand (2) Petri Dish (1) Method: 1. Measure the mass of the eight leaves using the Petri dish and weighing scale and note it down 2. Apply petroleum jelly to the bottom of two leaves. The same on the top of two others, on both the sides of another two. Two of them are left without any jelly. Measure the mass of the leaves
