Project Manager AGC Engineering Cleveland, OH 44120 Subject: Report of Relative Density Determination Cleveland, Ohio Dear Mr. Bell: I have completed the Relative Desnity Determination laboratory according to the ASTM  standards.  We followed the guidelines of ASTM D4253 – Standard Test Method for  Maximum Index Density and Unit Weight of Soils and Calculation of Relative Density.  The following report provides a brief description of the experiment performed, the  materials used, the procedure followed, and our results and conclusions.
After further calculations, I found that the minimum void ratio is .40 and the maximum  void ratio is .48.  I also found that the relative density is 83.69%.  This shows that the  soil we used was a dense soil.
