Questions 1 & 2 are definitions from pgs. 112-114. Question 3 refers to the set of definitions for isothermal, isobaric, and isochoric that were actually given on pg.29, but which become most useful when looking at the PvT surface and realizing that holding one variable constant represents a cross-sectional slice through the surface. Question 4 is dealt with on pages 129-130. We have been stressing the answer to Q. 5 in many problems. Question 6 is answered in part on pg 139 and Fig 4-49, and partly from the last paragraph on pg. 138. Question 7 & 8 are more definitions, enthalpy on page126, and quality on page129. Question 9; projections of the saturation curve to the T-v plane and the P-v plane are given in Figs. 4-18 & 4-19. In class, we generated the true diagram using the data from Table A-4. Question 10 is specifically succinctly addressed in the last paragraph on pg. 133, and expanded on on pg. 134. Question 1
