2. Left, Right, Undetermined (small-group activity) Note: The idea for this assignment is to collect some observations about the lateral specifications in your own nervous systems. Record your answers in the grid below. Do this in groups of three and compare your results. Task Right, Left, or Undetermined Form an O-shaped ring with one hand and hold this ring at arm’s length from your face. Focus both eyes on a point in the distance, looking through the ring. Still focusing on that landmark, close your left eye. Did your focus shift? Now try again, closing your right eye. Which eye maintained its focus? Tap out a 2:1 rhythm with both hands. One hand will tap twice for every tap in the other hand. Which hand played the faster beat? Now verify your results using a 3:1 rhythm (Waltz rhythm). Did the same
