Cognitive DevelopmentPhysical DevelopmetSixteen-year-old meWhen I was 16, I was very vocal about what I wanted, especially on how I wanted things done, and I would argue if I felt something was wrong. I could state my case as well as explain why with things supporting my argument. I was on the debate team. I liked to challenge myself by arguing the other side, or by using their arguements against themselves with my logic and research. I was open to trying new things and new experiences. I also was dealing with not trusting people based on what happened in my home situation growing up. I also was very aware of cause and effect at this age, where all my actions has a reaction, or a consequence. At the age of 16, physical changes happened to my body. I grew taller, the shape of my body changed, I got acne, and I also got glasses at this time.
