Unformatted text preview: What is critical thinking? Critical thinking is the ability to keep a running tab, or evaluation of the subject you are thinking about. Critical thinking is the opposite of impulsive thinking where the good thing of the moment is favored over the other thing which involves work or evaluation. How do you use critical thinking in your life? I could write books here, as an Engineer of basic skill and application critical thinking is used in absolutely every aspect of the work I love to perform. From the first evaluation, to the outline or drawing, there to promotion or purchase, then to design build test put into production. All of these steps require that happy use of the intellect, critical thinking.
