What is travel motivation? What encourages tourists to act, how do  they go through the decision making  process, what determines how satisfied  they are with their decisions, and what  makes them become repeat customers.

What is the most important question to ask about Tourist’s Motivations? The question is NOT “why do tourists travel?”  But “why do certain groups or categories of  persons tend to travel and undergo similar  types of experiences?” Travel Motivation is closely aligned with the  field of psychology and consumer studies.
