Identify professionals using ImageAI Abed hamed computer engineering department university of jordan Amman , Jordan [email protected] Abstract— This paper describes my first research experience in programming artificial intelligence program by using open- source software tools such as PyCharm. Among the educational machine learning languages that are available in the Internet, the python language was preferred. Eventually, the project focused itself on recognizing people that are wearing different clothes and classify them to engineers, chiefs, farmers, doctors..etc.the python language uses different amount of packages that serve the GUI and many options to manipulate the code. Keywords—python. ImageAI, Image recognition, machine learning, classification, py-charm. 1. Introduction This document is a final report from my summer 2019 distributed research experience as an undergraduate student. My mentor, prof. Gheith Abandah, Ph. D, from the Dept. of Computer engineer at the University of Jordan, directed my effort in this project for adapting any ready codes from the internet for a small educational programming available at the Git-Hub website[1] – a datatset – and eventually designing a program to classify peoples with a graphical user interface (GUI) for any user to send commands and receive input from the code under control via the python packages. 2. I MAGE AI The ImageAI is a neural network library that provides a lot of options that makes the developers to easily integrate the state of the art artificial intelligence features into any applications and systems. Its widely used by professionals and students, its due to the fact that it provides a powerful features such as image recognition, object detection, video detection and analysis and custom recognition training. The imageAI library has four modules (ResNet, SqueezNet, DenseNet and InceptionV3); in this project I used the ResNet module. ResNet module ResNet is a short for Residual Network, it’s a classic neural network used for many computer tasks.the Residual Network in general is a deep convolutional neural network several layers stacked and they are trained to the task at hand,it learns several features at the end of its layers, its proved that training programs using this method is much
