Q1(2pts) : I have a protein and I will test its ATPase activity after I run it on a PAGE gel. Should I use SDS or native PAGE gels? Why? Q2(3pts) : A Protein has 3 subunits. One of them has 1000 amino acids, other two have 500 amino acids each. If you run this protein on an SDS –PAGE gel how many bands will you see? How many bands on native PAGE?
