Page 1-1 Chapter One ANSWERS TO PROJECT QUESTIONS 1.57 Create a new database named Project One and create the following two tables in that database: DEPARTMENT (DepartmentName, OfficeNumber, Phone) and EMPLOYEE (EmployeeName, Email, DepartmentName) Assume that all columns have text data and set the length of the text field to an appropriate value. The two tables to be created are: DEPARTMENT (DepartmentName , OfficeNumber, Phone) EMPLOYEE (EmployeeName, Email , DepartmentName ) Where An underlined column name indicates the table key (primary key) of the table, and an italicized column indicates a foreign key linking two tables. The table below shows one possible database design – your students may create other variations, particularly in the length of the text fields. Note the use of EMPLOYEE.Email as the primary key for EMPLOYEE. This is done because there could be more than one employee with the same name in the company – for example, two people named John Smith. We could add another field – for example EmployeeID - that is guaranteed to be unique, but that is not part of the question as stated. However, if all
