Those who dominated are what is remembered today. True myth false myth- stories that promote either a good moral or bad moral. Helenization – Spread of Greek culture and ideology. Entertainment theatre, art, philosophy, sports. Buddhism (563-486 BCE) o The enlightened one. o Four Noble Truths Life is suffering. Some are rich, but that leads to someone being poor Suffering is caused by desire/craving. There is a way out, a way to overcome desire, this is called reaching Nirvana. Once one has reached Nirvana, there is no more reincarnation Noble Eight fold Path- the way they must live life. The actions they should make. They have a strict moral code. But they won’t tell you out loud if you they have a problem. Confucianism (551-479 BCE)
