Kyle Benefiel Angela Ash History 105 (AOZ1) 11/17/2019 Obersalzberg Speech 1. Hitler identifies himself, Stalin, and Mussolini as the prominent leaders in Europe. Why does he identify Mussolini as the weakest of the three? Hitler states that Mussolini is the weakest of the three great statesman in Europe. The reasoning behind this belief is that Mussolini has not been successful at breaking the power of the crown or of the Church. 2. What does Hitler think of the Japanese, the leader of Britain, the leader of France, and the leader of Turkey? Hitler believes that the Japanese Emperor is weak, cowardly, and undecided. He then states that both British leader Chamberlain and French leader Daladier are poor worms and too cowardly to attack. They won’t go beyond a blockade. He eventually states that the leader of Turkey, Kemal, has died, and is governed by “cretins” and half idiots. 3. Hitler describes the most "humane way" to conduct war.
