Title: Learning and CPR 2007 Assignment Goals The goal of this assignment is to introduce students to the philosophy behind higher education AND to the  process of Calibrated Peer Review. Reading through the source material will be critical to receiving a  good mark. In particular, students need to write an essay that has proper construction as described in the resources  given in this document. Please note that although good "html coding skills" are not needed, there is ONE symbol you must use.  At the end of each paragraph, place a "less than sign", a letter "P", and a "greater than sign". This is "web  code" for a paragraph break.  Source Material These websites will give you the background you need to include in your essay for your introduction to  CPR. The first resource is a blunt and direct assessment of strategies students must employ to be successful  during undergraduate education. The author, Dr. Leamnson, offers tips he's refined over his 20+ years of  teaching. The second link describes different learning styles. Near the bottom of this page is a survey you can take  to determine your learning style. Take this survey and read about strategies you can employ to improve  your learning. Indicate in your essay some of the strategies you will try out this semester. If you already  employ them all, write about why they work for you.  The third source is useful if you are unsure what plagiarism is and how to avoid doing it. One additional resource is a file loaded into D2L that gives some simple html codes so that you can bold,  italicize, superscript or subscript within your text. Doing these items in Word will not appear in your text on  the CPR website unless you put in the html codes. The most critical of these is to put "less than bracket,
