(20 points) The turkey data from blackboard shows that turkey weights (Y) in pounds, and ages (X) in weeks, of 13 Thanksgiving turkeys reared in three states: Georgia,(G), Virginia (V) and Wisconsin (W). a. Visualize the data through coded scatterplot for Y against versus X for three states. b. Model 1: Run a simple linear regression without considering the origin of the turkey and report the fitted regression line, and R 2 adjusted and estimated standard error. c. Model 2: Model the data using three parallel lines for the three states. i. Report the three parallel fitted lines ii. Draw the three lines with scatterplot in one graph. iii. Report the analysis of variance table for the three parallel lines model. iv. Compare your results with part b and conclude which model is better. v. Is there significant difference in weights of turkeys reared in Wisconsin with Georgia after adjusting their ages. vi. Is there significant difference in weights of turkeys reared in Wisconsin with Virginia after adjusting their ages. d.
