Virginia Lieu English R1B The Long and Short of It Tiffany Tsao May 11, 2009 Perspectives of Traditional Gender Roles and its Effects on Transnationalism Reflection In an effort to improve my essay, I added a few more examples about “This Blessed House.” I agree with my peer editor that the story was unbalanced because I had more support for “Mrs. Sen’s” than for “This Blessed House” so I added more examples about Sanjeev and his inability to become a transnational player because of his strict adherence to traditional Indian culture. I also tried to add more substance to my paper and correct some of my grammatical errors. I also tried my best to change sentences that sounded awkward in my essay. In addition to the two sentences that my peer editor chose for me to re-word, I also read through my essay again to find even more awkward-sounding sentences. I changed these to the best of my abilities to sound better. In respect to her comment about the introduction, I added more information
