Unformatted text preview: Math 182 Spring 2008 Greetings! Dear 182 Students, I am very pleased to be working with you this semester. I have been in the math department here at UNR since the fall of 1993 and I love all kinds of mathematics very very much. In addition to being a professor in the department I am also the College of Science Outreach Coordinator. This means that I keep my eye on everything the college of science does to communicate with K-12 throughout Nevada. Thus if you would ever like to tell me about your High School experiences with science, math or anything else I would be excited to speak with you. I am also very interested in Home schooling and those from private schools. I apologize in advance that this job does occasionally take me away and it is for this reason that before the start of each week I will post my office hours on the EDUCO web site and my web page at http://wolfweb.unr.edu/homepage/keppelma/ You can always reach me on my cell phone and usually by email (although I often fall behind on my email!).
