Inductive reasoning In deductive arguments, the conclusion is implicit in the premises Genuine new knowledge cannot be derived from deductive reasoning alone Inductive reasoning is thus much powerful than deductive reasoning But, remember, the conclusion of an inductive argument can never be more than probably true The strength of an inductive argument relies on its content not its form
