Group project (Stock pitching) guideline Objective: The group project requires you to conduct a complete analysis and current valuation of a business. A key feature of the project is that it requires you to identify and obtain the relevant information. Thus, in addition to being evaluated on your ability to apply the tools of analysis described in the course, you will also be evaluated on your ability to identify and obtain the relevant information. Your analysis should provide solid support for the assumptions and forecasts that drive your valuation. Choosing A Company: Choose a company from the industry in which one or more of your group members are familiar to or interested. You can choose a company based some screening criteria, i.e, minimum ROE, ROA, dividend and GROWTH RATE from Yahoo’s finance and other available financial websites. Your project analysis should follow the steps described in the course and include the following parts. 1.
