How to calculate Percent Needed on Final Exam to Earn a Specific Grade % Needed = [Cut-off%-0.4(Exams)-0.25(Lab)-0.10(Clicker)-0.05(Reci)] 0.20 Each of the scores in the formulas are PERCENTAGES Calculate the percentage you have in Masteringchemstry. Calculate the percentage you have in Clicker/Istudies. Calculate the percentage you have in Recitation (quizzes). Calculate the percentage you have in Lab. Drop your lowest exam score and add up your remaining three exams and your Masteringchemstry percent… divide total by 4… this is your exam percentage. If your lowest exam is higher than your homework score, just use your four exam scores instead of the homework.
