Screen m2 plants for mutants Mutant       x Mutant + + ¼ mutant/mutant, ½ mutant/+, ¼ +/+ Mutant       x + + + Mutant/+ x Mutant/+    results above    Agrobacteria infect plants - Cause huge tumors - Function by transfer a linear piece of DNA from their plasmid (T-DNA) - Inserts randomly somewhere on plant chromosome Agrobacterium-mediated plant transformation - Use function of agrbacteria to put target gene into plant - Gene providing drug resistance (marker) + whatever target gene -  Transgenic plant Differences in development with plants: - Plants do NOT undergo gastrulation.
