(5 pts) Draw an organic compound having the formula C 8 H 18 and producing only one compound upon monochlorination. 3.(6 pts) Using the partial Newman projection diagrams provided below draw the most stable conformation of meso 2,2,3,4,5,5-hexamethylhexane. Also, draw the most stable conformation of the R,R stereoisomer of 2,2,3,4,5,5-hexamethylhexane. Which diastereomer ( R,R or meso) has the more stable conformation. Indicate why. C(CH 3 ) 3 C(CH 3 ) 3 meso R,R 4,5 ( 5 pts each) For the three equilibria that follow select the one with the largest value of K and the one with the smallest value of K. Answer by letter.
