Inside of it is all of the instincts and drive oHe says we are all in a state of some kind of pain or discomfort which istension discomfort (I’m hot take clothes off, cold, out clothes on. oBehavior is driven by pleasure principle oBehavior that produces pleasure you keep doing itoHe says that all of the life instincts feed me, I’m cold, I’m wet that is what the id is clearing for, the id has no connection to the outside world does not distinguish between what is real and what is fantasy or imagine he calls this primary process, you guys are really hungry and you can’t get the robot to come to you in class. He argues that some ofthis daydreaming is your primary process.
