Christianity as it pertains to a worldview is based on the belief that there is only one God
that created everything that exist (Hiles, & Smith, 2015). God created man in image and saw
man as his greatest creation. He gave man the rule creation and told him to care for all the plants
and animals and to praise, love, and obey God (Diffey, 2015). God told man to be fruitful and
multiply to fill the earth (Genesis 1:28). Christians use the Holy Bible to guide them through life
and in the word of God. There are four basic acts in the bible, the Creation, the Fall of Humanity,
Redemption, and Restoration (Diffey, 2015). Because of the fall of man God sent his only Son
Jesus Christ to die on the cross for their sins and pave a path to eternal life in heaven with God
the father. This paper will address the reasoning in my personal beliefs about Christianity and
why I choose to follow God.
God
God the father is the all-knowing all powerful deity of Christians who is known as the
God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, also known as the divine Trinity which
exist as three persons within one substance (Lecture 4, 2017).God is all-knowing, eternally
unaltering, loving, faithful, compassionate, and just creator (Diffey, 2015). God created
everything and he is the sustainer of all that is both visible and invisible with an unsurpassable
sovereignty, wisdom, and righteousness (Kraay, 2010). God created the heavens and earth, light

and darkness, all the living creatures, plants and trees, and mankind in six days (Genesis 1:1-31).
God told man to care for all that he created to toil the ground and thrive, but not to eat of the tree
of knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:15-17). When man disobeyed this instruction, God had
given him they needed to be punished. Because of this rebellion of man sin was born unto the
world so God placed his judgement on Jesus and sent him to be crucified on the cross to save
humanity. He tells us in the Bible For go so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son to
die, and whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
Humanity
God Created the world and everything in it he then created man in his image to care for it
(Lecture 2, 2017). God gave man some of his characteristics in that man his greatest creation can
love, feel sympathetic, and think on a higher level. God gave us this ability to communicate with
