Final Debate Constructive 21.Hi, first I’m going to give an introduction of what I will do in this constructive:Attention Getter:168 innocent lives lost. 1 guilty man’s taken. The death penalty is a rare but necessary means to achieving justice. Opponent’s argument: While my opponents argue that it is immoral to sentencea man to death, I stand before you to argue that when someone makes the choiceto take the life of one, or in most death penalty cases, many individuals, they haveforfeited a right to their own life, and must face the consequences.Restate First Constructive: My partner has presented to you the two main issuessurrounding the death penalty, its effects on society, and why the death penaltyshould not be abolished. First, life imprisonment is extremely expensive whereasthe death penalty spurs justice. Next, poeple who murder, are the ones devaluinghuman life and putting murderers and terrorists on death row leads to a declinein mass incarceration which already costs the United States over $182 milliondollars. Also, if a killer is sentenced to death, the families of the victims can knowthat the murderer can no longer do any more harm.2.Develop negative attack on affirmatives case: Now I will go into why my opponents case is not an effective solution.
