The following bibliography gives a suggested format for 1) an article in a journal, 2) a score, 3)
an article in a collection containing the writings of more than one author, 4) a book by one
author, called a monograph, 5) liner notes for a recording, 6) a recording, 7) an article in a
scholarly journal that is published online, and 8) an article in an encyclopedia.
