You are responsible for all handouts, slide shows, posted articles and book readings, and DVDs watched in class, whether they have been discussed in detail in class or not. Since the midterm: o In Language in the USA we have read chapters 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, and 21. o In English with an Accent we read Rosina Lippi-Green. (1997) “Teaching Children How to Discriminate” In English with an Accent. Pp. 79-103., and Rosina Lippi-Green. (1997) “The Stranger Within The Gates” In English with an Accent. pp. 217-239 o We had a guest speaker Mark Lindsay come talk to us about Arabic.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
