Policy and procedures assist the employees in understanding their roles and responsibilities within the organization. Necessity of healthcare policy and regulations along with standards of care ensure compliance while in turn providing safe healthcare to all individuals (Mota, 2017).Dashboards contain reports and clinical data along with statistics in graph form to promote and improve quality of care and safety for individuals. One in twenty patients will develop nosocomial infection while receiving medical care according to the Center of Disease Control (Office of Inspector General, 2018). Blood stream infections in central line patients equal about 42,000 patients (Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, 2019).
