Gender Analysis: Is the "freedom from fear" a concern for both men and women equally?The fight for equality among men and women is a polarizing topic that is quite the controversy, especially in today’s social climate. Although both sides have valid arguments, both sides also have their shortcomings. Franklin Roosevelt and Barack Obama’s statements about equality and “freedom from fear” show that the slow yet effective progress that is being made towards equality.During Franklin D. Roosevelt’s speech, he declares, “A good society is able to face schemes of world domination and foreign revolutions alike without fear.” Both Obama and Roosevelt gave speeches with great detail and solid statements which improved and helped to form America as a whole. As history would show, women have fought and have continued to fight for equality since the beginning of time. Back in the day, women were forced to continuously fight for their rights due to the unfair treatment of all kinds of women. Women absolutely have more rights and places in society than before, yet it is still a concern. As a nation,
