Dissolute Language
According to me, by the quote “Thought corrupts language” and “language can also corrupt
thought.”
Orwell means that the language, through the years, has changed drastically in a negative way.
He believes that our thoughts corrupt the language and it has come to a point where the language now
does not make any sense at all. Language is a beautiful thing that exists on every face of this planet. A few
decades ago, English sounded more professional and was very strong, now listening to someone speak
literally just hurts, too many slang words, words with no meaning, and the sentence formation just never
sounds right. Language is the only thing that helps humans connect, and making it so disgusting in a way
that the children are not allowed to speak some words that they hear all the time.
