What is my relationship(s)? 7. What do I want? (objective/intention/goal/victory) 8. What do I do to get what I want? (tactics/actions/activities) 9. What is in my way? (obstacles) A scene is rarely about what is being said from the actor’s point of view. THE BODY (you have to know what you can handle) THE VOICE (you need to warm it up to make sure you don’t lose it) Rehearsals & Performance (you need to learn lines not memorize) Auditioning (agent called by casting director who will get actors together for director & they decide who to cast) The Professional Actor’s Unions • AEA (Actor’s Equity Association) • SAG (Screen Actor’s Guild) • AFTRA (American Federation of Television and Radio Artists)...
