Question 1 (12 points) Consider the following amplifier circuit. Assume all BJTs are in the active mode and have the same β . Also, you must decide whether to include or neglect the Early effect in your analysis for each transistor according to the rules established in class . Give your answers in terms of β , labeled resistances, and small-signal parameters (for example, use g m 1 , r π 1 , and r o1 for the small-signal parameters of Q1). You should always use parallel notation like “R 1 //R 2 ” and also any already labeled resistance (like “R in1 ”) in your answers instead of expanding them.
